FEES AND INSURANCE
We are IN-NETWORK with the following insurance companies: Medicare, Northwell Health Direct, and Optum.
For all other insurances, we are out-of-network providers. Our staff will assist you with filling out forms and sending invoices to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. In some cases, we may be able to submit out-of-network claims to your insurance provider on your behalf. All clients are required to have a credit card on file and payment is due at the time of your appointment.
Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation
A complete psychiatric evaluation involves a 60-90 minute session focused on presenting symptoms, past psychiatric history, medical history, and current medications. It will sometimes involve obtaining additional information from prior treatment providers, current providers, or family. Based on this information we will discuss diagnosis, treatment recommendations, and alternatives, if applicable.
Psychiatric Evaluation with MD: 60 minutes $400
Psychiatric Evaluation with NP: 60-75 minutes $300
Medication Management
At the beginning of treatment, appointments usually occur monthly. Each session usually lasts 30 minutes and includes a review of symptoms and side effects. Sometimes, we will ask you to complete a brief questionnaire so that we can objectively monitor progress. We also provide supportive psychotherapy drawing from psychodynamic, mindfulness, and CBT informed therapies. Once symptoms are well-controlled, it is not uncommon to meet less frequently, though usually no less than once every three months.
Med management with MD: 30 minutes $200
Med Management with NP: 30 minutes $150
Med check/refill only with MD: 20 minutes $125
Med check/refill only with NP: 20 minutes $75
Therapy
While we do not provide ongoing weekly psychotherapy, there may be times when you require a longer treatment session due to the need for more intensive interventions or to include family or significant others. These sessions may range from 45 to 90 minutes. Should you require these services, our office will reach out to you to discuss fees in advance.
